Locums | Interventional Cardiology | Paducah, KY (KY License or IMLC Considered) Why This Role An interventional cardiologist is needed to join an established locums coverage pool, with initial coverage dates in November and December 2026 and January 2027. Coverage Dates

  • November 23‚Äì26, 2026
  • December 1‚Äì4, 2026
  • December 29, 2026‚ÄìJanuary 1, 2027
  • Ongoing availability of 3‚Äì7 days per month preferred
  • Candidates must provide exact availability when presented
Assignment Details Setting: Inpatient Coverage type: EMTALA call Patient population: Adults No outpatient or ambulatory clinic responsibilities EMR: Epic Cupid Two interventional cardiologists are currently in the group Another interventional cardiologist will be present during locums coverage Clinical Scope Respond to all hospital cardiology calls General cardiology consultations as needed Balloon and coronary angioplasty Percutaneous coronary intervention Heart catheterization Coronary angiography Interpretation of EKGs, echocardiograms and stress tests Nuclear stress-test interpretation Requirements Board-certified in Interventional Cardiology Active Kentucky medical license and DEA required IMLC candidates may be considered when offering 3–7 days per month Active ACLS certification COVID vaccination preferred Must disclose any previous work within the affiliated health system, including facility, last date worked and agency
