Clinical Role RecruitWell is seeking a Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist for a per diem locums opportunity in Carmichael, California. This is a low-volume inpatient weekend coverage role with no clinic responsibilities and is best suited for a local candidate.

Assignment Details

• Start: As soon as credentialed

• Expected credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days

• Duration: 1 year

• Coverage: 1–2 weekends per month

• Shift: Friday at 5:00 PM – Monday at 8:00 AM

• Per diem

• Inpatient only

• No clinic

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

• Provide weekend Interventional Cardiology coverage

• Manage inpatient cardiac patients

• Respond to Interventional Cardiology needs as clinically appropriate

• Collaborate with hospital-based support staff

• Complete timely clinical documentation

Practice Environment

• Low-volume inpatient setting

• Hospital support staff available

• EMR: Cerner

• Local candidates preferred

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology required

• Active California medical license required

• Fluoroscopy certification required

• Clean malpractice history highly preferred

Credentialing

• Both foundation and hospital privileges required

• Credentialing expected to take approximately 90 days
