Job Details:
Part-time, weekend call position requiring coverage for 24-hour shifts from 5:00 PM on Friday until 8:00 AM on Monday, two weekends per monthSpecific coverage dates include November 26-29: Night call on 11/26 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM, followed by 24-hour call shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM on 11/27, 11/28, and 11/29
Provide both interventional and general cardiology services during weekend call shifts
Respond to calls for emergent patient care, including consultations and interventions
Round on patients both Saturday and Sunday, with expected rounding time of 4-5 hours each day
Onsite presence required for rounding and specific procedures only
Average callback to the hospital expected 0-4 times per day depending on patient needs
Ensure timely, high-quality care of patients during weekend shifts
Provide clear and detailed documentation of patient encounters and any interventions performed
Must be able to perform both interventional and general cardiology procedures
Must have an active license; local candidates preferred
