Description
Noor Locums is seeking a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist for a hospital-based locum tenens opportunity in Paducah, Kentucky. This assignment is ideal for a physician seeking flexible call coverage, with opportunities available across select dates in November, December, and early January.
The physician will provide interventional and general cardiology coverage for adult patients in an inpatient setting. There is no scheduled ambulatory clinic, and other interventional cardiologists will be present during coverage.

Interventional procedures including PCI and coronary angioplasty

General cardiology consultations and diagnostic study interpretation

EPIC Cupid documentation system
Job Responsibilities
Respond to cardiology calls for the hospital
Perform balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, and coronary angiography
Evaluate inpatient cardiology consultations as needed
Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests, including nuclear stress studies
Document patient care accurately using EPIC Cupid
Coordinate with the cardiology team to support continuity of care
Qualifications
Active Kentucky medical license and DEA registration required
ACLS certification required
Physicians with IMLC eligibility may be considered if they can provide the required availability
COVID vaccination preferred
Must provide availability for the requested coverage dates when expressing interest
Prior work history with the healthcare organization, if applicable, must be disclosed during the name-clear process
Working Hours
24-hour call shifts: 7 AM–7 AM
Approximately 3–7 days per month
Weekend and on-call coverage required
Inpatient/EMTALA call setting
No scheduled ambulatory clinic
Adult patient population
Other interventional cardiologists will be present during coverage
