Job description
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 AM) with coverage dates of Nov. 23-26, Dec. 1-4, and Dec. 29-Jan. 1. Ongoing need for 3-7 days per month, including weekends.
Patient Volume: Inpatient coverage for adult patients
EMR: Epic Cupid
Required Certifications: Board Certified, ACLS, and DEA
Required Procedures/Skills: Balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, coronary angiograms, hospital cardiology call coverage, consults, EKG interpretation, echocardiograms, and stress testing including nuclear studies
License Requirements: Active Kentucky license preferred; IMLC candidates considered for providers available 3-7 days per month
Additional Details: Inpatient-only practice with no clinic responsibilities. Coverage includes EMTALA call responsibilities and collaboration with an established Interventional Cardiology team. Will consider providers obtaining Kentucky licensure.
