Noor Locums is seeking a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist for a hospital-based locum tenens opportunity in Mechanicsville, Virginia, with coverage needed from December 18, 2026, through January 1, 2027.
This opportunity combines weekday onsite cardiology coverage with evening, overnight, and weekend call responsibilities. The physician will support inpatient cardiology services and provide interventional coverage, including STEMI response and coronary procedures, alongside an established cardiology team.
Coverage Dates: December 18, 2026, at 7:00 AM through January 1, 2027, at 5:00 PM.

Job Responsibilities
Perform and manage interventional cardiology procedures, including:
Balloon angioplasty
Coronary angioplasty
Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
Cardiac catheterization
Coronary angiography
Embolic protection procedures
Carotid artery stenting
Atherectomy
Participate in STEMI call and support unassigned cardiology coverage.
Provide medical management of vascular disease.
Respond to urgent cardiology consultations and calls.
Provide rounding and inpatient management as needed.
Coordinate care with the established cardiology team and hospital staff.
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC.
Qualifications
Active Virginia medical license required.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification required.
Clean malpractice history required.
Must be available for the complete specified coverage period.
Must be comfortable with inpatient cardiology, interventional procedures, and STEMI call responsibilities.
Experience with PCI, coronary angiography, and other interventional cardiology procedures required.
