Job Overview:

Schedule & Availability Requirements:
Coverage Dates:
- November 23 – November 26, 2026
- December 1 – December 4, 2026
- December 29, 2026 – January 1, 2027
- (Ongoing volume: 3–7 days per month)
Shift/Coverage Type: 24-Hour On-Call Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Setting: Inpatient / Hospital (EMTALA Call Only; No ambulatory/clinic work)
Weekend Requirements: Yes
EMR: Epic Cupid
Practice Details:
- Join a 2-physician group (other Interventional Cardiologists will be present on-site during coverage)
- Adult patient population
- Respond to all hospital cardiology calls & perform general cardiology consults as needed
- Interpret diagnostic studies: EKGs, Echocardiograms, and Stress Tests (including Nuclear Stress)
Required Procedures:
- Balloon Angioplasties
- Coronary Angioplasty
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Heart Catheterization
- Coronary Angiograms
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certification: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology [Required]
- State License: Active Kentucky License & DEA [Required] (Will consider IMLC candidates with 3–7 days/month availability)
- Certifications: ACLS [Required]; COVID-19 Vaccination [Preferred]
