JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified (Required)
- Licenses: Active KY License (Required) or Universal License (IMLC) with availability
- DEA: Active DEA Certification
- Certifications: ACLS (Required), Board Certified (Required), DEA (Required)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform interventional cardiology procedures including balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, and coronary angiograms.
- Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital.
- Provide general cardiology consultations as needed.
- Read and interpret EKGs, ECHOs, and stress tests (including nuclear stress).
- Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for interventional cardiology.
