Locum Physician Opportunity: Interventional Cardiology in Paducah, KY
Join a dynamic healthcare team at a renowned facility seeking a locum Interventional Cardiologist. This practice offers an engaging environment where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the adult patient population. Coverages are needed during the festive season, specifically from December 29 to January 1, with a flexible schedule of 3-7 days per month.
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital.
- Provide general cardiology consultations as needed.
- Read studies including EKGs, ECHOs, and stress tests (including nuclear stress).
- Perform required procedures such as:
- Balloon Angioplasties
- Coronary Angioplasty
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Heart Catheterization
- Coronary Angiograms
- Collaborate with fellow interventional cardiologists in a supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (Required)
- Active Kentucky License & DEA (Required); IMLC considered with 3-7 days/month availability
- ACLS Certification (Required)
- COVID Vaccine (Preferred)
- Must provide availability for the specified dates upon name clearance (Required)
- If applicable, disclose prior work history at the facility along with details (Required)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active License in Kentucky (KY)
- Board Certification in Cardiology
- ACLS Certification
- DEA Registration
