Job description
A healthcare facility in Virginia is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for short-term locum tenens coverage in an inpatient/call setting. This opportunity includes onsite weekday coverage plus weekday night and weekend call, with potential rounding responsibilities.
This assignment is especially attractive for providers who are comfortable with core interventional cardiology procedures and want a defined, 2-week coverage need (late December into early January), supported by emergency/temporary privileges and travel coverage. Will have ongoing needs in 2027

• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Heart catheterization
• Coronary angiograms
• Medical management of vascular disease
• Embolic protection
• Carotid artery stenting
Atherectomy
Qualifications
Active VA license
Active DEA
Must be able to do: Dec 18 7a - Jan 1 5p
Working Hours
Weeknight Call 5p-7a
Weekend Call 24 hour
