Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Join a reputable facility in Kearney, Nebraska, seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist for ongoing coverage. This position requires flexibility, as you will be covering inpatient rounds, performing procedures, and participating in call rotations. The facility is well-staffed with a 175-bed capacity, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while delivering top-notch cardiac care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform inpatient rounds Monday through Friday with an average census of 8-10 patients.
- Assist with procedures including catheterizations and other interventional treatments, averaging 8-9 per week.
- Adhere to call responsibilities, specifically STEMI call, with a 1:3 call rotation.
- Conduct clinic hours from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, when not covering inpatient services.
- Collaborate with APPs and Hospitalists for patient care and assistance.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (required).
- Active Nebraska medical license or active IMLC (highly preferred).
- Strong case management and clinical skills.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
- Proven track record of performing interventional cardiology procedures.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology.
- Nebraska medical license or IMLC eligibility.
- Submission of case logs and CV with work history upon presentation (required).
