Position Overview
* Full-time, employed position
* Coronary Interventional Cardiology practice
* Academic appointment through Wake Forest University School of Medicine
* Primary practice at High Point Medical Center
Qualifications
* MD/DO
* Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
* Echo certification preferred (if applicable)
* Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
Practice Highlights
* Coronary-only practice (no structural or peripheral interventions)
* 2–3 days/week in the cath lab
* 1–2 days/week in outpatient clinic
* 6–8 weeks of inpatient service annually
* Perform coronary angiography, PCI, atherectomy, IVUS, and FFR
* Manage STEMI, NSTEMI, and complex coronary disease
* Team-based care model with APP support
* EPIC EMR with Dragon and DAX AI documentation
* Practice across multiple regional hospitals
* 5 cath labs at the main campus, 3 at High Point, and 1 ASC cath lab in Greensboro
* 1:5 weekday and weekend STEMI call with post-call Monday off
