Job description
Interventional Cardiology locums coverage in Michigan with 24-hour call coverage and a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The need is structured as two coverage blocks to bridge the gap until a permanent physician starts.
Highlights
- Interim coverage needed until a permanent start, defined short blocks rather than open-ended coverage
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient work
- Bread and butter interventional
- Will consider physicians who are not yet licensed in Michigan if you have an active IMLC LOQ
Practice Setting
- Interventional Cardiology, adult patients
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage
Schedule
- 24-hour scheduled coverage with 24-hour call
- Coverage requested in two blocks in December through early January
- Credentialing timeframe is about 30 days; applications prioritized by start date
Cases and Procedures
- Bread and butter interventional cardiology cases
- General cardiology cases
- Must be able to perform TEE, echo, and nuclear medicine
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board-certified in Interventional Cardiology
- Michigan license required; will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only
- ACLS and BLS
