A hospital in southwestern Indiana, about 45 minutes from Evansville, needs an interventional cardiologist for 24-hour call coverage from 7am November 12 to 7am November 18. $3,600 for each 24-hour call day, and callbacks at $400 an hour. Temporary privileges are available, and your travel and lodging are covered.

Job Responsibilities

Call-only coverage for inpatient, the emergency department, and the cath lab at a Level III trauma center, with about 12 to 25 patients per shift and rounding on assigned patients. No admissions are required. You supervise 2 advanced practice providers and work with a team of 2 to 4 nurses. Epic EMR.

Qualifications

Board certified in interventional cardiology, with interventional cardiology fellowship training. ACLS and BLS. An active Indiana license, or an IMLC letter of qualification.

Working Hours

24-hour call, 7am to 7am, from 7am Wednesday, November 12 through 7am Tuesday, November 18. Lodging is available nearby at the Hampton Inn or the Marriott TownePlace Suites.
