A hospital in the Federal Way, Washington area needs an interventional cardiologist for per diem call and vacation coverage, with open blocks from October 30 through January 1. $3,850 for each 24-hour call shift, callbacks at $404.25 an hour, and holiday call at $5,775. Take up to 20 shifts a month. Expedited privileges are available for clean files, and travel and expenses are covered.

Job Responsibilities

Interventional cardiology call coverage and daytime rounding when you cover for the group's full-time interventionalists on vacation, with about 10 patients a day. Required procedures are coronary angiogram, percutaneous coronary intervention, and stent placement. One option is to round at the sister hospital while you take interventional call at St. Francis. Callbacks are typically 0 to 4 hours. Epic EMR.

Qualifications

Board certified in interventional cardiology, with interventional cardiology fellowship training. An active Washington license is highly preferred, and an IMLC letter of qualification must be uploaded. A clean malpractice record is preferred.

Working Hours

24-hour call shifts, starting in the morning, up to 20 shifts a month. Open blocks: Oct 30 to Nov 2, Nov 13 to 16, Nov 28 to Dec 2, Dec 21 to 28, and Dec 29 to Jan 1. Per diem.
