Schedule: Full-Time Coverage (Can Be Split Between Two Providers)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Normal, IL. The ideal candidate must have experience performing TEEs and be available for weekday coverage, including overnight call and potential weekend call.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Daytime Coverage)
- Weeknight Call: 5:30 PM – 7:30 AM
- Weekend Call: Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:30 AM (as needed)
- Full-time coverage may be split between two providers.
Requirements:
- MD/DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Interventional Cardiology
- Active Illinois Medical License – Required
- Active Illinois DEA and Controlled Substance (CS) License – Required
- BLS (AHA) Certification – Required
- ACLS (AHA) Certification – Required
- Must be able to perform TEEs
- Availability matching the requested coverage schedule
- Minimum of two completed professional references
