Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician - Interventional Cardiology for Permanent locum tenens coverage at a inpatient/outpatient facility located in Muskegon, MI
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Open to Open
This assignment includes outpatient clinic/Inpatient, onsite hospital coverage, interventional cardiology services including cardiac catheterizations and PCI, and no on call or weekend.

Permanent Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Shift: Full-time interventional cardiology schedule
Start Date: Open
End Date: Ongoing

Position Details: Full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join an established 10-physician regional cardiology practice providing comprehensive cardiovascular services across the lakeshore region.
Patient Population: Patients with coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, heart failure, and other cardiovascular conditions
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings
Responsibilities: Provide interventional cardiology services; perform cardiac catheterizations and coronary angioplasty/stenting (PCI); conduct emergency angioplasty procedures for acute myocardial infarction; provide inpatient cardiovascular consultations; perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures; conduct electrical cardioversions; perform and interpret TEE; participate in pacemaker, bi-ventricular pacemaker, ICD, and loop recorder implantation; evaluate and treat CAD, cardiomyopathy, and arrhythmias; provide treatment planning for valvular heart disease; participate in heart failure management and CHF clinic support; deliver presurgical cardiovascular evaluations; support lipid and anticoagulation management; collaborate with APPs, nurses, and medical assistants; utilize Epic EMR and MyChart; work within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular care model.
Required Procedures: Cardiac catheterizations, coronary angioplasty/stenting (PCI), emergency angioplasty for acute myocardial infarction, electrical cardioversion, TEE, pacemaker implantation, bi-ventricular pacemaker implantation, ICD implantation, loop recorder implantation
EMR System: Epic and MyChart
Support Staff: Advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, cardiothoracic surgery team, electrophysiology services, multidisciplinary cardiovascular care team
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: None

Requirements

• Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Cardiology - must become certified within 2 years - Required
• Valid MI license at time of employment - Required
• DEA - Required
• BLS Certification and maintain recertification - Required
