The incoming physician will step into an established position and join a collaborative cardiovascular team serving patients throughout Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
Located near the Wisconsin–Illinois border, Beloit provides easy access to Chicago, Madison, and Milwaukee, with Chicago O’Hare International Airport approximately one hour away.
The area offers affordable housing, schools, parks and outdoor recreation, locally owned restaurants, cultural attractions, and a family-friendly community—while remaining within reach of major metropolitan amenities.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include performing interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, providing inpatient and outpatient cardiology care, sharing in the 1:4 call rotation, and collaborating closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing teams, and other clinical staff.
The physician will also have opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continued development of cardiovascular services.
Qualifications
MD or DO
Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency
Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
Ability to obtain an unrestricted Wisconsin medical license
Strong interventional, diagnostic, and clinical cardiology skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care
