Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, VA is building its interventional cardiology locum coverage pool. Confirmed open dates: 11/21 5pm through 11/27 7am, with additional future dates likely. $300/hour, $450 overtime, $350/hr night call, $2,500 for 24-hour call, $450/hr callback.

Job Responsibilities

Staffed onsite weekdays 7am-5pm, on-call weekday evenings 5pm-7am, on-call weekends Saturday 7am through Monday 7am. Potential for some rounding responsibility. Perform balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, coronary angiograms, embolic protection, carotid artery stenting, and atherectomy. Call volume is moderate, STEMI call is a little less than every other day. Chart in Epic.

Qualifications

Board certified required. BLS/ACLS required. Active VA license required. Clean malpractice history required. NPDB self-query (pulled within 30 days) required at presentation. 50 interventional case logs within the past 12 months required. Availability for the confirmed dates is required, no exceptions once name-cleared.

Working Hours

Confirmed: 11/21 5pm through 11/27 7am. Weekday staffed hours 7am-5pm, weekday evening call 5pm-7am, weekend call Saturday 7am through Monday 7am.
