Position: Full-Time | Specialty: Interventional Cardiology
Base Salary: $650,000 + production incentives
Total Compensation Potential: ~$1.5M
Sign-On Bonus: $100,000 | Call: 1:4
An established community hospital in South Central Kentucky is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join a high-volume cardiology practice. This is a traditional interventional opportunity with strong procedural volume, excellent support, and significant earning potential. No structural heart program.
Practice Highlights
- 30–40 cardiac catheterizations per week
- 50–60 STEMI cases annually
- Dedicated two-room cath lab
- 1–2 full days of cath lab time during outpatient weeks
- 1 week inpatient / 3 weeks outpatient
- Five dedicated cardiology NPs
- Dedicated scribes and nursing support
- Strong hospitalist support
- Established regional referral base
Compensation & Benefits
- $650,000 guaranteed base + RVU and quality incentives
- Total compensation potential of approximately $1.5M
- $100,000 sign-on bonus
- $5,000 per contract year for CME/time-off allowance
- 20 days out of office
- $1M/$3M claims-made malpractice with tail coverage

Seeking an Interventional Cardiologist comfortable with diagnostic cath, PCI, STEMI coverage, and traditional interventional cardiology who is interested in a high-volume, long-term community practice.
