Job Responsibilities
• Support Staff: 1 Interventional Cardiologist, 1 General Cardiologist, 1 PA and 1 NP
• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Approximately 6 days per month and vacation coverage
• Patients per day: approximately 18-20 patients
• Patient Population/Age: 40-90
• Department Description: Parkland Cardiology.4-5 hours of rounding per day and minimal callback
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital Bed size: 110 Bed Hospital
• Special Procedures: Cath’s, TEE’s, Pacemakers
• Skills Required: Cardiology Services
Qualifications
• Board Certification: Yes
• License Required: Active MO license required. IMLC considered.
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications Preferred: Yes
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum Experience Required: 3-5 years
Working Hours
Shift Details: 24 hour call, hospital rounding, reads, cath procedures and weekend calls.
