Facility:
This 402-bed tertiary referral hospital serves as the flagship of a well-established regional health system in west-central Pennsylvania. The facility is a designated STEMI Receiving Center, Primary Stroke Center, and active teaching facility with multiple residency programs. It features three cardiac catheterization labs, a dedicated EP lab, a hybrid OR suite, and advanced cardiac imaging capabilities including dual-source CT scanners and Cardiac PET/CT. Established structural heart programs including TAVR and Watchman, along with on-site Cardiothoracic Surgery, round out a comprehensive cardiovascular service line.Opportunity:
Employed - Interventional CardiologyJob Details:
- High-volume Non-Structural Interventional Cardiology opportunity at a regional tertiary referral center
- STEMI Receiving Center with the ability to manage complex cardiovascular cases locally
- Strong procedural volume with approximately 5-8 cath lab cases per day
- Full scope of interventional cardiology including complex PCI and advanced coronary interventions
- On-site Cardiothoracic Surgery providing immediate surgical backup
- Impella support and capability to manage cardiogenic shock cases
- Alternating weekly schedule: Cath Lab week / Clinic week
- 1:3 STEMI call rotation supported by 6 experienced APPs
- Collaborative cardiovascular team including Interventional, Non-Invasive, Electrophysiology, and CT Surgery specialists
- Experienced physicians preferred; strong new graduates considered
- Access to advanced cardiac imaging including Cardiac CTA and Cardiac PET/CT
- Regional nuclear cardiology program with multiple outreach locations
- Established pacemaker and electrophysiology services
