We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist to provide hospital-based locum coverage in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This assignment includes inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, hospital consultations, catheterization procedures, TEE/Echo services, nuclear testing, and STEMI call coverage.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform hospital consultations and manage approximately 15 consults per day.
• Perform approximately 3 procedures per day, including inpatient and outpatient cardiac catheterizations.
• Perform and interpret TEE/Echo studies and cardiac imaging.
• Provide STEMI call coverage.
• Participate in weekday overnight beeper call and 24-hour weekend call.
• Manage inpatient and outpatient cardiac cases.
• Document patient care using Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with hospital teams to provide timely cardiac care.
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License or IMLC LOQ required.
• DEA registration required.
• Experience with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Experience with TEE, Echo interpretation, and cardiac imaging.
• Clean credentialing file preferred for temporary privileges.

• Nov 10: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM + night beeper call 4:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Nov 11: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM + night beeper call 4:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Nov 12: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM + night beeper call 4:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Nov 13: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM + night beeper call 4:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Nov 14: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM — 24-hour call
• Nov 15: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM — 24-hour call

Call Structure:
• Weekday STEMI beeper call: 4:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekend STEMI call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
• Approximately 3 weeks of call coverage per month
