Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage in Florida. This is a call-only, inpatient opportunity beginning September 20, 2026, with an ongoing
Job Responsibilities
Respond to beeper call within 20 minutes.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients requiring interventional cardiac procedures.
Perform patient admissions as needed.
Conduct inpatient rounding and manage acute cardiovascular conditions.
Collaborate with nursing staff, hospital personnel, and multidisciplinary care teams.
Document patient care accurately using the Medhost EMR system.
Deliver timely phone consultations and on-site patient evaluations during call coverage.
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
Active Florida medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong inpatient and procedural experience.
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
