Interventional Cardiologist (MD/DO) – Locum Tenens Opportunity
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers a blend of procedural, consultative, and STEMI call coverage at a community hospital with a well-established cardiovascular program.

Schedule
Weekday Coverage
- Monday – Friday
- Clinical Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
STEMI Call Coverage
- Monday – Friday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekends: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Combination of in-house and hotel call coverage
Note: Call coverage includes two hours of gratis call time.

- Interventional Cardiology Procedures

- Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
- Echocardiogram Interpretations
- Cardiac Imaging Reviews
- Inpatient Cardiology Consultations
- STEMI Response and Intervention
- General Interventional Cardiology Coverage
Patient Volume
- Approximately 15 Consults Per Day
- Approximately 3 Procedures Per Day
Requirements
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Active Pennsylvania License Preferred
- Pennsylvania License or IMLC Accepted
- DEA Required
- Strong Interventional Cardiology Experience Preferred
