An established hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for urgent locum tenens coverage. This is a hospital-based assignment offering continuous call coverage with travel and lodging provided.

Job Responsibilities
The provider will manage a combination of inpatient cardiology needs, emergency interventions, and potential elective procedures throughout the assignment.
Required Procedures:
EKG Interpretation
Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
Echocardiography
Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Coronary Stent Placement
STEMI Management and Intervention
Support Staff
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) available weekdays
Coverage Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Qualifications
Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
Active North Dakota Medical License strongly preferred for immediate consideration
OR
Active IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) with a clean background
Important Credentialing Information
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 45 Days
Temporary Privileges Available for qualified candidates
Candidate must have a clean professional history with no background issues, disciplinary actions, or named/dismissed cases that could delay privileging

Variable patient volume
Mix of inpatient consults, urgent interventions, and possible elective procedures
Travel and lodging fully covered
