About the Role:

• Location: Crown Point, IN - 30 mins from Chicago!
• Seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist who specializes in Invasive Intervention
• Ideal candidate will have a passion for PCI and peripheral vascular procedures, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction.
• Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
• Flexible, full-time schedule
• Weekday, Weekend & Holiday Call: 1:4
• Required to cover 13 weekends per year
• Average outpatient volume: 8 -12 patients per day
• Average inpatient volume: varies
• Potential for surrounding area outreach
• State-of-the-art labs: Phillips systems which include the Flex vision screens with the most updated software package including clarity software
• availability of nine data out ports providing connection to TEE/CCTA’s images on the Flex vision screens
• Nurse Practitioner support

• Common Diagnoses: Abnormalities of Heart Rhythm, Atrial Fibrillation, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Chest Pain, Heart Failure
• Procedures: Cardiac angioplasty and stent placement, including drug eluting stents
• Rotational Atherectomy
• Carotid Stenting
• Peripheral Vascular Procedures
• Onsite Equipment for Testing
• EKG
• Exercise Stress Equipment
• Holter Monitoring

Candidate Background:

• Board Eligible / Board Certified Interventional Cardiology
• Ability to hold Indiana state license
