Job description
I am currently assisting a respected South Texas health system with the recruitment of an Interventional Cardiologist to join an established, growing cardiovascular program. This employed opportunity offers a strong compensation package, light call responsibilities, excellent procedural volume, and access to a modern medical center located just minutes from the Texas Gulf Coast(near South Padre Island).
Position Highlights
• Full-time employed Interventional Cardiology opportunity
• Practice located adjacent to the hospital and Cath Lab
• Monday-Friday clinic schedule
• Average of 25 patients per clinic day
• Expected procedural volume of 10-15 cases per week initially
• Shared call schedule with 10 additional cardiology providers
• Approximately 3 days of call per month
• Immigration assistance available – accepting both J-1 Waiver and H-1B candidates
Advanced Cardiac Program
• Four Cath Lab suites
• Cardiac, Electrophysiology, and Neuro capabilities
• Robust Clinical Research Department available for physician-led research
• Opportunity to participate in teaching through a nearby medical school

Candidate Requirements
• MD or DO
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Texas license or eligibility for unrestricted Texas licensure
• Spanish-speaking skills are welcomed but not required
