Locums – Kentucky
Interventional Cardiology
- Schedule: 3–7 days per month
- Practice Setting: Inpatient / EMTALA call
- Patient Population: Adult
- Setting: No ambulatory work
- Support: 2 Interventional Cardiologists in group; additional coverage present during assignment
- EMR: Epic Cupid
Required Procedures:
- Balloon Angioplasties
- Coronary Angioplasty
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Heart Catheterization
- Coronary Angiograms
General Cardiology Responsibilities:
- Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital
- General cardiology consults as needed
- Reading studies including EKG, ECHOs, and stress tests (including nuclear)
Ongoing coverage needed.
