Position Overview
A well-established, 300-bed acute care hospital in Arkansas is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing cardiovascular program.
This opportunity offers a strong referral base, modern facilities, and the ability to step into an active and expanding practice. The incoming physician will work in a collaborative environment with strong hospital and community support.
Job Responsibilities
• Interpret diagnostic studies including EKG, stress tests, and echocardiograms
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care
• Participate in shared call coverage
• Collaborate with hospitalists and referring providers
• Contribute to program development and quality initiatives
Qualifications
• Fellowship-trained in Interventional Cardiology
• Eligible for Arkansas medical licensure
• Strong procedural and diagnostic skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
Working Hours
Skills
• Experience performing angioplasty and coronary stent placement
• Ability to manage acute coronary syndromes (STEMI/NSTEMI)
• Strong interpretation skills for:
• EKGs
• Echocardiograms
• Cardiac imaging
• Experience managing both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care
• Ability to work independently in a cath lab environment
• Strong clinical decision-making in emergent situations
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology with Interventional Fellowship training
