Interventional Cardiology Opportunity in Georgia | No STEMI Call

Interventional Cardiology – Southwest Georgia

We are seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join a collaborative team of two board-certified cardiologists with strong NP support. This is a well-established, high-quality practice with a strong referral base and modern facilities.

Please note: this position does not include structural cardiology cases.

Practice Overview

• Join 2 experienced, board-certified cardiologists + NP support
• Clinic located within walking distance of the hospital campus
• Average clinic volume: ~14 patients/day
• Variable inpatient volume depending on census
• Opportunity to precept medical students and residents

Call & Schedule

• Schedule: Negotiable
• Call: 7 days/month (shared among cardiology group)
• Medical/therapeutic cardiology only
• No STEMI call
• Additional call compensated separately

Procedures & Services

• Full range of interventional and diagnostic cardiology services, including:
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization
• Pacemaker and ICD implantation
• Loop recorder placement
• Cardioversion
• TEE, echocardiography, ECG, Holter monitoring
• Stress testing
• Cardiac CT and MRI
• Carotid studies

Requirements

• Completion of or upcoming completion of Interventional Cardiology fellowship
• Board certified or board eligible (must obtain certification within 5 years if eligible)
• Eligible for Georgia medical licensure or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
