Interventional Cardiologist – Peripheral Vascular Focus - Western South Dakota

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist with training or experience in peripheral vascular interventions to join a physician-led, hospital-supported cardiovascular practice serving a large regional population.

This role offers a balanced mix of interventional, vascular, inpatient, and outpatient cardiology supported by a deep APP team, modern facilities, and robust subspecialty collaboration.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Outpatient cardiology and peripheral vascular disease consultations
  • Inpatient cardiology and vascular consults with strong hospitalist/intensivist support
  • Interpretation of echo (including TEE as able), stress testing, and arterial/venous duplex studies
  • Dedicated read days for cardiac imaging
  • Minimum expected clinic volume: ~16 patients/day once established

Interventional & Vascular Focus

Complex Coronary Intervention

  • Advanced PCI experience or training preferred

Peripheral Vascular

  • Fellowship training and/or strong clinical experience
  • RPVI eligibility and endovenous ablation experience desirable (not required)

Call & Schedule

  • Shared interventional and vascular call among interventional cardiologists
  • No general cardiology call except one inpatient weekend day
  • Approximate weeknight call: 1:5
  • Inpatient rotation: ~1:8 weeks
  • In-house nocturnal APP support
  • Robust inpatient APP coverage during rotations
