Interventional Cardiologist – Peripheral Vascular Focus - Western South Dakota
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist with training or experience in peripheral vascular interventions to join a physician-led, hospital-supported cardiovascular practice serving a large regional population.
This role offers a balanced mix of interventional, vascular, inpatient, and outpatient cardiology supported by a deep APP team, modern facilities, and robust subspecialty collaboration.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Outpatient cardiology and peripheral vascular disease consultations
- Inpatient cardiology and vascular consults with strong hospitalist/intensivist support
- Interpretation of echo (including TEE as able), stress testing, and arterial/venous duplex studies
- Dedicated read days for cardiac imaging
- Minimum expected clinic volume: ~16 patients/day once established
Interventional & Vascular Focus
Complex Coronary Intervention
- Advanced PCI experience or training preferred
Peripheral Vascular
- Fellowship training and/or strong clinical experience
- RPVI eligibility and endovenous ablation experience desirable (not required)
Call & Schedule
- Shared interventional and vascular call among interventional cardiologists
- No general cardiology call except one inpatient weekend day
- Approximate weeknight call: 1:5
- Inpatient rotation: ~1:8 weeks
- In-house nocturnal APP support
- Robust inpatient APP coverage during rotations
