Interventional Cardiologist

Position Summary
A well-established cardiovascular practice is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing, multidisciplinary cardiac team. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient care, and interventional procedures within a comprehensive cardiovascular program that includes advanced clinical services and an active research environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient clinic care, inpatient rounding, and interventional procedures
- Utilize advanced cardiac support devices, including Impella, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and temporary pacemakers
- Participate in a high-volume interventional practice performing approximately 125–150 diagnostic and interventional procedures per month
- Support and participate in specialized therapies for patients with refractory angina, including Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP)
- Engage in clinical research and participation in cardiovascular clinical trials
- Share call responsibilities equally within the group, including a 1:4 weekend call rotation
- Participate in resident and/or trainee education as applicable
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team with dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support

- State-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, catheterization laboratories, and nursing support
- Dedicated office space located in proximity to the hospital

Requirements
Certifications & Licensure
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Active state medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- AHA-approved BLS certification
Required Education
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program
- Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
