Start Date: January 2026 (orientation required before first shift)
Duration: January–April open blocks (multiple coverage windows)

Work & Clinical Details
Scope of Work Includes:

Inpatient Interventional Cardiology

Management of high-acuity adult and geriatric cardiac patients

Hospital-based consults, diagnostics, and procedural responsibilities

Collaboration with RNs, APPs, and physician teams

Rapid, accurate decision-making in a high-pressure setting
Support Staff:

RN, NP/PA collaboration

No resident supervision required

Workload primarily inpatient with call-driven census

Providers expected to integrate well with nursing and physician teams
Call Requirements:

24-hour IC coverage during assigned blocks

Day and night responsibilities included

Expected to respond to onsite needs rapidly

Orientation:

Mandatory on-site orientation prior to first day

Credentialing + compliance must be complete before shift approval
Travel & Lodging:

Mileage available for local providers outside 2-hour radius

Certifications & Requirements

Board Certification: Interventional Cardiology

Fellowship: IC fellowship required

Licensure: Montana license preferred; IMLC acceptable

Life Safety Certifications: ACLS required

Experience:

Strong EPIC proficiency

Ability to function independently in high-pressure environments

Excellent communication skills with nursing + physician teams

Clean malpractice

Additional Notes:

Providers must complete Moderate Sedation/Facility Life Safety training if required

All providers must be cleared by Intermountain credentialing + compliance prior to scheduling
