Interventional Cardiologist – Coastal South Carolina
Join a growing cardiology program serving one of South Carolina’s fastest-growing coastal communities. This hospital-employed position offers an excellent blend of interventional and general cardiology in a collaborative, well-equipped environment with two cath labs and advanced imaging capabilities.
Position Highlights:
• Mix of interventional and general cardiology – primarily outpatient with inpatient responsibilities
• Standard schedule: Monday–Thursday 8–5, Friday 8–12
• Protected administrative time (4.5 clinical / 0.5 admin days per week)
• Average 18–22 patients per day
• Call: 1:4 STEMI (shared with MUSC IC physicians), 1:6 general cardiology
• Cerner EMR
Program & Facility Details:
• State-of-the-art cardiac diagnostics: TTE/TEE, nuclear and treadmill stress testing, cardiac CT/MRI (256-slice scanner)
• Two-room cath lab and 14-bed Cardiac Monitoring Unit
• Fully staffed cardiac device clinic and dedicated cardiac tech team
• Consultative inpatient service – hospitalists manage admissions
• Collaborative team of cardiologists, APPs, and strong PCP referral network
• Hybrid OR development underway for minimally invasive procedures
• da Vinci robotic surgery system for advanced cardiac cases
• Integrated wound care with hyperbaric chambers on site
