Interventional Cardiologist Opening – Alexandria, Louisiana
An established and reputable medical group in Alexandria, Louisiana, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a busy and well-supported practice. The incoming physician will perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while working collaboratively within a strong cardiovascular care team.
Position Details
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement
- Interpret imaging and diagnostic test results
- Collaborate closely with cardiology and primary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in inpatient consults and rotating call schedule
- Opportunity to contribute to teaching and staff education
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Completion of fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
Eligible for medical licensure in Louisiana
Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
