We have an outstanding Interventional Cardiology locum opportunity at Southern Arizona — a Level II Trauma Center known for its comprehensive cardiac care and modern facilities. Flexible schedule open to 1 to 4 weeks/month (ongoing coverage)
Assignment Highlights
- Location: Arizona (IMLC state)
- Facility: Level II Trauma Center
- Specialty: Interventional Cardiology
- Coverage Type: 24-hour STEMI beeper call only
- Practice Setting: Inpatient only
- Schedule: Flexible – 1 to 4 weeks/month (ongoing coverage)
- Start Date: ASAP (credentialing in ~30 days; temp privileges available)
- EMR: Epic
Daily Volume & Call Details
- ~2 admissions per 24-hour period
- ~3–4 phone consults/day
- ~10% call-back rate
- 30-minute response time required
Facility & Support
- regional medical center serving Southern Arizona
- Level II Trauma Center
- Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology required
- No supervision or teaching responsibilities
- Support from dedicated cath lab and nursing teams

- 30-day credentialing timeframe
