We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to provide part-time weekend call coverage in Illinois.
Position Overview
- Two weekends a month, 5:00 PM Friday – 8:00 AM Monday (24-hour weekend call)
- Estimated Shifts/Month: 6
- 30-minute response time
- EMR: Cerner
- Provide weekend call coverage for both interventional and general cardiology services.
- Round on patients Saturday and Sunday (approximately 4–5 hours per day).
- Be available for emergent consultations and interventions; average hospital call-backs: 0–4 per day.
- Deliver timely, high-quality documentation of patient encounters and interventions.
- Certification: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
- Experience: Minimum 1 year post-training
- Licensure: Active Illinois medical license
- Certifications: ACLS, DEA, and Illinois CSR required
