Interventional Cardiologist Needed – Growing Program in Southeastern Louisiana
A thriving regional health system in southeastern Louisiana is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing cardiovascular team. This opportunity is driven by continued growth and strong demand in a highly supportive clinical environment.
Position Highlights:
- Join an established team that includes:
- 3 Interventional Cardiologists
- 3 Non-Invasive Cardiologists
- 1 Electrophysiologist
- 3 Advanced Practice Providers
- Call is shared with a nearby cardiology group to ensure reasonable work-life balance
- Modern, comprehensive heart center currently undergoing renovation
- 2 Cath Labs
- 4 Echo Rooms
- 2 TEE/Stress Test Rooms
- 15 Pre/Post Procedure Rooms
- Structural Heart Clinic (not seeking a structuralist at this time)
- Dedicated CV Pre-Admission Testing services
- Nearly 100 affiliated primary care providers for strong referral support
Compensation & Benefits:
- Recruitment incentive bonus
- Student loan repayment up to $60,000 over 3 years
- Relocation assistance up to $10,000 with receipts
- CME allowance – $3,500 annually + 5 days
- 3-year employment agreement
