Interventional Cardiologist needed in WV

Location: Beckley, WV

Beckley is a charming city in West Virginia known for its scenic beauty and proximity to outdoor recreation areas. The area offers a welcoming community atmosphere with easy access to the beautiful Appalachian Mountains.

Facility:

This facility is a Level 3 trauma center with a well-equipped cardiology department featuring 2 cath labs and 4 cath lab beds. The facility has a dedicated team of 7 RNs and 8 techs, with a call team consisting of 3 RNs and 1 tech. There are currently 2 full-time Interventional Cardiologists on staff.

Opportunity: Board Certified - Interventional Cardiology

This is an urgent need for ongoing coverage starting June 16, 2025. The position involves interventional cardiology services with a focus on inpatient care.

Job Details:

• Practice Type: Interventional, Inpatient
• All ER-based work
• STEMI call plus availability for consults on unassigned cardiology inpatients
• Perform procedures as credentialed
• Orientation provided the day before first day of call
• Variable case volume (0 to a few cases per week)
• 3 exam rooms available
• No supervision of other healthcare providers required
• Other cardiologists present during assignment
• BLS certification required
• Fellowship training required

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
