The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join their expanding academic faculty. Position Overview

  • Practice Interventional Cardiology within an academic setting focused on excellence and innovation
  • Open to all experience levels: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor ranks available
  • Tailor your role to align with your clinical interests, research goals, or teaching focus
  • Relaxed call schedule supported by attending physicians, scribes, and dedicated support staff

Clinical & Academic Highlights

  • 1,100–1,200 PCI procedures and 200 TAVR cases annually
  • Opportunity to conduct subspecialty research (participation optional)
  • Engage in resident and fellow mentorship across select training locations
  • Collaborative environment including surgeons, radiologists, and vascular specialists
