Aya Healthcare is seeking a BC/BE Electrophysiologist for ongoing Locum Tenens coverage at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, PA. Start date: 9/8/2026 with specific dates Oct 26-30 and Dec 28-31, plus as-needed vacation coverage. Three openings available.
- WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital: 270-bed acute care hospital with academic/training and clinic settings
- Outpatient census of about 16 per day and inpatient census of 10-15 per day
- Assigned outpatient clinical team and inpatient APP
- Epic EMR
- No call required; temporary privileges available for clean files
Job Responsibilities
• Perform pacemaker implants, ICD implants (traditional and sub-Q), loop recorder implant/explant and ablations (AVN, SVT, A-flutter)
• Work with an assigned outpatient clinical team and an assigned inpatient APP
• Provide up to 40 hours per week of coverage, typically once per month and for vacation coverage; no call required
Qualifications
• Active PA license or IMLC LOQ in hand (not willing to license)
• DEA required
• ACLS/BLS required
• Epic experience helpful (EMR: Epic)
