Aya Healthcare is seeking a BC/BE Cardiac Electrophysiologist for short-term Locum Tenens coverage at Flagstaff Medical Center (Northern Arizona Healthcare) in Flagstaff, AZ. Coverage weeks: Aug 3-7, Aug 10-14, Aug 17-21 and Dec 28-31. Two openings available.
- Flagstaff Medical Center: 268-bed acute care hospital and Level I-IV adult trauma center
- Cath lab with 3-4 hospital consults and 4-6 EP cases per day
- In-office clinic with 20-22 patients per day
- Cerner EMR; OT and holiday paid at 1.5x
- Credentialing timeframe of about 30 days
Job Responsibilities
• Provide hospital cath lab consults (3-4 per day) and see approximately 20-22 clinic patients
• Use Abbott EnSite-X mapping; perform TEEs and moderate sedation independently
• Care for adult patients in a 268-bed hospital
Qualifications
• Arizona license (IMLC accepted; willing to license) and AZ DEA
• ACLS required
• Minimum 1 year of experience; case logs showing 100 EP cases in the last 2 years with emphasis on ablations
• Comfortable with moderate sedation, TEEs and the Abbott EnSite-X mapping system
