Aya Healthcare is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist for short-term locum tenens coverage at Flagstaff Medical Center (Northern Arizona Healthcare) in Flagstaff, AZ.
• 268-bed Level I trauma center with a cath lab: 3-4 hospital consults per day plus 4-6 EP cases per day
• Left-sided ablations using the Abbott EnSite-X mapping system; TEEs and moderate sedation
• Clinic volume of approximately 20-22 patients; hospital and in-office clinic settings
• Coverage dates: Aug 3-7, Aug 10-14, Aug 17-21 and Dec 28-31
• Cerner EMR; adult patients

Job Responsibilities
• Perform electrophysiology cases (4-6 per day), including left-sided ablations
• Use the Abbott EnSite-X mapping system; perform TEEs and moderate sedation independently
• Care for adult patients in the cath lab and clinic
Qualifications
• 1 year of experience minimum; case logs showing 100 EP cases in the last 2 years with emphasis on ablations
• Arizona license (IMLC accepted; willing to license) and AZ DEA
• ACLS required
• Comfortable with EnSite-X mapping, TEEs and moderate sedation
