Position Overview:
A hospital in Chambersburg, PA is seeking an Electrophysiology Physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage. The physician will provide both inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services with dedicated clinical support.
Schedule & Coverage:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- No regular call requirement
- Up to 40 hours of coverage per week, primarily one week per month
- Additional coverage may be needed for vacation coverage
- Initial coverage dates include December 23–25 and December 28–31, 2026
Clinical Volume:
- Approximately 16 outpatient patients/day
- Approximately 10–15 inpatient patients/day
- Adult patient population
- Approximately 18–100 years of age
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Electrophysiology consultation and management
- Pacemaker implantation
- Traditional and subcutaneous ICD implantation
- Loop recorder implantation and explantation
- AVN ablation
- SVT ablation
- Atrial flutter ablation
Support & Environment:
- Dedicated outpatient clinical team
- APP support for inpatient services
- EPIC EMR
- Hospital-based practice with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Academic/training environment
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology/Cardiology
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand
- DEA
- ACLS and BLS
- Electrophysiology experience required
- Clean, complete credentialing file preferred
