Description:
Hot locum opportunity for a Board-Certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist in Springfield, Oregon. Coverage is needed approximately 2 weeks per month beginning January 2027, with a mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient care, and weekend EP call. EP lab days may also be available for the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities
Manage EP consultations and follow-up
Perform inpatient pacemaker implantation
Perform DCCV cardioversion
Provide weekend inpatient rounding
Participate in weekend EP call
Collaborate with general and interventional cardiology teams
EP lab participation may be available based on experience
Qualifications
Active Oregon license or willingness to obtain
Minimum 2 years of experience
Epic experience required
BLS and ACLS
Active cardiology practice with appropriate recent case volume
Documentation of at least 30 EP cases within the previous 24 months
Ablation experience and recent case volume required if ablation privileges are requested
Working Hours
8-hour clinic shifts, typically 3–4 consecutive days
Weekend EP call approximately 1–2 times per month
Weekend rounding and inpatient coverage: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Overnight telephone call: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
Start Date: January 2027
Assignment duration: Approximately 6 months with potential extension
