Seeking a Locum Electrophysiology Physician to provide cardiac electrophysiology services in Chambersburg, PA.
• • • Ongoing assignment with coverage needed as scheduled & for vacation coverage
• • • Adult patient population, ages 18–100
• • • Approximately 16 outpatient patients per day
• • • Approximately 10–15 inpatient patients per day
• • • Dedicated clinical support team
• • • 1 assigned outpatient clinical team
• • • 1 assigned inpatient APP
• • • EPIC EMR
• • • Hospital bed size: approximately 270 beds
Job Responsibilities
• • • Evaluate & manage inpatient and outpatient cardiac EP patients
• • • Perform pacemaker implantation
• • • Perform traditional & subcutaneous ICD implantation
• • • Perform loop recorder implantation & explantation
• • • Perform AVN ablations
• • • Perform SVT ablations
• • • Perform atrial flutter ablations
• • • Collaborate with APPs & clinical support staff
• • • Provide appropriate follow up & ongoing cardiac care
• • • Document patient encounters in EPIC
Qualifications
• • • Board Certified or Board Eligible
• • • Active Pennsylvania medical license required
• • • IMLC LOQ in hand may be accepted
• • • DEA required
• • • ACLS certification required
• • • BLS certification required
• • • Cardiology / Electrophysiology experience required
• • • Clean file may allow temporary privileges during credentialing
Working Hours
• • • 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• • • Up to 40 hours per week when coverage is needed
• • • No scheduled call
• • • Initial scheduled coverage: October 26–30, 2026
• • • Additional scheduled coverage: December 28–31, 2026
