Job description
We are seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiology physician for a locum tenens position in Canton, Ohio. This is a mixed practice opportunity spanning outpatient clinic, EP lab procedures, and inpatient consultative coverage. Please see below for more information.
- Acute care hospital
- Level II Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Perform EP lab procedures including EP studies, catheter ablation, cardioversion, and implantable cardiac device placement
Perform syncope evaluations and manage remote monitoring devices
Order and interpret genetic testing as clinically indicated
Provide inpatient consultation services and hospital rounding
Interpret EKGs
Utilize the Abbott EnSite mapping system during procedures
Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
Qualifications
Board Certified in Electrophysiology
Ohio medical license required
IMLC accepted with clean background
DEA required
Ohio CSR required
ACLS required
BLS required
Working Hours
Outpatient clinic Monday and Tuesday
EP lab procedure days Wednesday through Friday
No call required
