Job description
We are seeking an Electrophysiologist for a locum tenens position in Bellingham, Washington. This is a hospital and outpatient clinic assignment covering the full spectrum of electrophysiology services. Please see below for more information.
- 247-bed facility
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Perform the full range of EP procedures, from pacemaker and device implantation through ablations
Manage rounding and admissions for assigned patients
Care for an adult patient population
Maintain an average daily census of approximately 10 patients
Document all clinical care in the Epic EMR
Collaborate with advanced practice clinician support in the delivery of patient care
Qualifications
Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
Board Certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
Active Washington state license required; IMLC accepted, willing to license considered
ACLS required
BLS required
Epic charting required
Hospital and clinic privileges required
Documentation of cardiovascular disease services representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months
Documentation of 100 electrophysiology cases representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months
Working Hours
Day, night, and weekend coverage
Scheduled coverage plus call required
Weeknight call required
Potential 24-hour weekend call as needed
