Job description
We are seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist for a locum tenens position in Canton, Ohio. This is a combined outpatient clinic and hospital-based opportunity at an acute care facility. Please see below for more information.
- Level II Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
- Abbott EnSite mapping system
Job Responsibilities
Perform EP lab procedures including EP studies, catheter ablation, cardioversion, implantable cardiac device placement, syncope evaluations, remote monitoring device management, and genetic testing
Provide inpatient consult service coverage and hospital rounding
EKG interpretation
Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
Clinic volume of approximately 14 patients per clinic day
Qualifications
Board Certified in Electrophysiology
Active Ohio medical license required (IMLC accepted with a clean background)
DEA required
Ohio CSR required
ACLS required
BLS required
Working Hours
Approximately 2 days per week of outpatient clinic (Monday and Tuesday)
Approximately 3 days per week of procedures (Wednesday through Friday)
